Airline Division News, Week Ending May 13, 2017

NetJets aircraft technicians and related employees represented by the Teamsters Airline Division and Teamsters Local 284 have launched a multi-location informational picketing campaign to publicize their dispute over the company’s refusal to pay industry standard wages and massive levels of subcontracting of aircraft maintenance. Informational picketing began on Friday at Don Scott Airport at Ohio State University in Columbus.

Following a tentative agreement on April 5, 2017, Teamster Flight Dispatchers at Atlas Air, Inc., and Polar Air Cargo have voted to ratify changes to their existing contract. One-hundred percent of the flight dispatchers voted, with 74 percent voting in favor of ratification.

On November 22nd, the ABX Pilots and your Union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Airline Division (IBT) and its affiliated local, Teamsters Local 1224 (collectively, the Union) commenced a lawful strike against ABX.  Local 1224 and the ABX Pilots established primary picket lines against ABX at CVG and ILN.
