Negotiations for a stand-alone Technician and Related, Subsidiary ASA contract resumed this week in Atlanta with the Union and the Company agreeing to meet outside of Federal Mediation.
The Company has yet to respond to the union proposal that advised the company of the unions’ interest in accepting their offer of additional wages and work rules with the understanding that it would only apply to the S-ASA side.
The National Mediation Board has announced that flight simulator technicians at United Airlines voted for sole representation by the Teamsters Union. The 98 technicians were previously represented by the Teamsters at United in Denver and the Transport Workers Union at Continental in Houston prior to the 2010 merger.
The CitationAir Negotiating Committee assembled in White Plains, New York on Monday, August 19th to resume bargaining with management towards their first Collective Bargaining Agreement. Local 1108 President Captain Mat Slinghoff and Interim MEC Chairman F/O Tim Carter joined with the team for the session. The group met with the expectation of receiving new information about CitationAir’s future operations as it had been almost six months since the last meeting with management.
The Negotiating Committee for NetJets Technicians and Related met with the Company on August 20th and 21st. The parties discussed Article 8- (Grievance Procedure), with the Company initiating discussions regarding the Unions last proposal. The Union and the Company were able to reach a Tentative Agreement on Article 4 – (Union Security, Check Off and D.R.I.V.E.)
