The American Aviation Labor Alliance (AALA) is a formal partnership of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), the Transport Workers Union (TWU) and the Coalition of Airline Pilots Association (CAPA), which together represent a combined total of more than 140,000 aviation workers. The AALA is a combined and coordinated lobbying effort on airline safety and security.
Coalition of Pilots Association (CAPA)
The Teamsters Airline Division has formed an alliance with the Coalition of Airline Pilots Association (CAPA) to join their efforts and resources to serve and enhance the safety, security, and safety and legislative interests of all professional flight deck crew members and the airline industry as a whole.
The Teamsters Airline Division has formed a Strategic Alliance with the Allied Pilots' Association (APA). The alliance will strengthen efforts to win an industry standard contract, bankruptcy reform, Railway Labor Act reform, flight and duty time reform and safety initiatives. APA is also a member of the Coalition of Airline Pilots Association (CAPA), an industry advocacy group with which the Airline Division maintains an alliance. Visit the USAPA website.
