Negotiations for a combined ASA/XJT Stock Clerk contract resumed this week in Atlanta. The Union made passes on Section 7 (Hours of Service) and Section 22 (General and Miscellaneous), and the Company made a pass on Section 22 and Section 7. The parties were unable to reach a TA (Tentative Agreement) on any Sections this week.

After discussion, both articles were tentatively agreed to. Piedmont mechanics negotiations set to resume October 7 were cancelled - new dates will be scheduled.

David Bourne.

Today is the day that Americans everywhere pause to reflect on the tragic events on the bright, sunny day thirteen years ago when we were attacked in such a cowardly manner. On that day, we lost not only thousands of our fellow citizens, we lost men and women of law enforcement and EMS, who answered the call. We lost pilots and flight attendants of our profession who fought to stop the attacks on their airliners and passengers.
