When we become Teamsters at American Airlines, one thing we can count on is superior representation for all mechanics and related workers. Just ask Teamsters at United Airlines.
In addition to AMTs and unlicensed mechanics, the Teamsters are committed to providing strong representation to facility maintenance employees.
“The Teamsters have opened up stations for ground equipment and facilities at United with their first contract,” says Ken Meidinger, a UAL facilities employee in Denver. “We now have the right to review contracts with vendors when it comes to outsourced facility work so we can bring the work in house. The trades are also recognized with license pay and we have true scope language.”
Like Ken and all mechanics and related workers at United, the Teamsters will represent all maintenance and related class and craft workers at AA. They will use their power and resources to represent us and bring outsourced facility work back in house.
The Teamsters are our ONLY chance for change at American Airlines!
